14. using your camp gear for home survival

In the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri, millions of Texans found themselves without safe drinking water, electricity and warmth during below freezing weather. In this episode, we reflect on the creative ways our fellow Texans found to survive by using their camp gear such as propane stoves, sleeping bags, lanterns, and other cold weather gear. The impact of this storm continues to leave its trace on Texas as broken pipes wait for repairs and grocery store shelves remain empty. Once again we are called to help each other through this difficult time. We encourage our listeners to donate to their local food bank. Check our links below for Food Banks in Dallas & Austin, TX.
